Unleash your creativity and stand a chance to win a Samsung Lifestyle TV or Samsung Soundbar

Posted on August 10, 2021 By mindfisi

Splurged on your pet lately, and cant figure what to do with the discarded packaging? Samsung Malaysia just announced the perfect answer with its #FurTheWin Instagram challenge. Inviting Malaysians to design innovative pet homes out of used cardboard boxes, this eco-friendly challenge is the perfect way to give used packaging a new lease on life and to get yourself a chance at winning Samsungs The Frame and Soundbar.
The #FurTheWin challenge is inspired by Samsung’s Eco-Package concept, the companys multi-award-winning initiative to reduce carbon emissions by making alternative upcycling options for eco-conscious consumers. For this reason, Samsungs eco-packaging is made from eco-friendly corrugated cardboard, allowing consumers to turn cardboard boxes that are otherwise discarded into various accent pieces for their homes.
Check out the prizes to be won:

  1. Build an Eco Pet House using Samsungs Eco-Packaging or any used plain cardboard box.
  2. Set your Instagram profile to public and post a picture of your pet with the Eco Pet House.
  3. Include a creative caption that describes your pets best trait and use the #FurTheWin and #SamsungEcoPackage hashtag in your post.
  4. Tag @Samsung Malaysias Instagram page and three (3) of your Instagram friends.

The challenge runs from today until 19 September 2021, and each participant is entitled to submit one (1) entry throughout the contest period. A total of 20 winners will be selected by a panel of judges and announced on Samsung Malaysia’s Facebook and Instagram page. All winners will also be in the running for the Grand prize, 2nd prize, and 3rd prize, which will be announced on 30 September 2021.
Samsung has been making various efforts over the years to reduce the use of resources across all supply lines to promote more sustainable consumption. Since early 2021, the company has introduced eco-friendly packaging across its Lifestyle TV product portfolio in order to reduce the environmental footprint. Using dot matrix design on its eco-friendly corrugated cardboard boxes, consumers can cut the boxes easily and assemble them for various other uses, such as small end tables or pet houses.
The launch of the #FurTheWin Eco Pet Home Challenge further solidifies Samsung’s hopes to provide its customers with a new experience while reducing the environmental footprint.
