The powerful sister of Kim Jong-un, the North Korean leader, has denounced joint US-South Korean military exercises which began today as an unwelcoming act of self-destruction for which a dear price should be paid.
Kim Yo-jong went on to criticise the perfidious behaviour of the South in a statement to the Korean Central News Agency, the official mouthpiece of the government in Pyongyang.
She said that the exercises demonstrated that the USs calls for unconditional diplomatic talks were hypocrisy that concealed Americas intention to invade North Korea.
