Who’s offering what, when and where?

Posted on August 13, 2021 By mindfisi

Samsung has announced two new smartphones
as part of its big Unpacked online presentation – and there’s a new entry in the Fold series arriving in a matter of weeks.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G, to give it its full title, is a premium aluminium-framed foldable smartphone, available with two internal storage options (256GB or 512GB). It also includes 12GB of RAM to power all that multitasking you might want to get stuck into using its main display screen (7.6″ QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED, if you were wondering).
The phone will run Android 11 and is compatible with Samsung’s S-Pen. It will be available in three colour options (black, green or silver) from its August 27 release date – although as you would probably expect, the phones are in fact available to pre-order now.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 price isn’t exactly cheap on the smartphone scale – starting at £1,599 for the 256GB version – although it comes with a cheaper price than the Fold 2
did at launch. But if you want to review your options, then you can check out all the pre-order deals, tariffs, and other initiatives available via different retailers right here.

If you pre-order before the August 27 release date, you can claim a year’s Samsung Care+ insurance for your new phone. You’ll need to register this within 30 days of making your purchase.
And until August 30, there’s also an opportunity to claim up to £600 when you trade in an old device. The amount of credit you receive will, of course, depend on the make, model, and condition of your previous handset. Samsung notes in its small print that the £600 example is based on “the highest value trade-ins, which are iPhone 12 Pro & Pro Max”.
Customers who order before the end of December can also get a free accessories starter kit, which is usually valued at £79.99. This includes a flip case, S Pen, and 25W travel adapter.
Also, customers who order direct via Samsung can claim 4 free months of YouTube Premium, as long as they’re “new YT Premium/YT Music Premium & Google Play Music subscribers”. This long-term offer is running until March 5, 2022, and claims must be redeemed with YouTube by April 5, 2022.
